Join award winning and internationally exhibited mosaic artist and instructor, Shelly Hamill, for these mind, body and spirit filled weeks learning the ancient art of mosaics.

Spend a week creating mosaics in the glorious Rocky Mountains of Colorado.  Based in Aspen, CO, students will explore the area and all this beautiful part of the country has to offer.  Students will start each day with yoga and outdoor activities.  During summer retreats students will be hiking, including a hike to the most photographed place in America, the Maroon Bells. Winter retreats will offer students cross country or downhill skiing.  After exercising our bodies, we will exercise our minds by translating our outdoor experience into mosaics.  Students will use photography and illustration from each hike to inspire a 12 x 12 mosaic to take home.  Along the way, we will enjoy fine dining and culinary delights in the home of the Food & Wine Classic.
No hiking, skiing or mosaic experience required.

Spend a week on the beautiful island of Bermuda soaking up the sun and
creating beach inspired mosaics.   Take inspiration from the unique
pink sand beaches and incorporate found beach glass into your 12 x 12
work of art.  Students will explore the natural beauty of the island
as well as the capital city of Hamilton, old town of St. Georges and
the historic Dockyard.  No mosaics experience required.

We are made in the image of Christ.  We are God’s Masterpiece, made
with His perfect plan and blessings laid out before us. Come learn the
ancient art of mosaics and see yourself the way God does, perfectly
created one piece at a time.  This is a special mosaic class
and bible study developed by Shelly Hamill.   Key concepts will be
presented and explored using mosaics as a medium for expanding our
understanding of God and His love for us.  No mosaic experience
required.  Location- Aspen, CO,
